We had two special visitors in the library on Wednesday, April 14.  Michael Turner and Cathleen With are two authors who are nominated for the BC Book Prize and are currently on tour in northern British Columbia.

Michael read from his latest novel, 8 x 10, and Cathleen from hers, Having Faith in the Polar Girls’ Prison.  They talked about the process of writing, about their own lives and experiences, and answered many questions from the students and teachers in the audience.

Mr. Russell’s and Ms Mah’s Block B classes were the lucky ones who met the authors. Both authors signed  gift copies of their books for our library.  Come on in and check them out!
