Prince Rupert District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) is the recognized representative for the collective voice of parents in SD#52. Prince Rupert DPAC is comprised of elected parent representatives from our 8 School Parent Advisory Councils (PACs), advocating for approximately 2500 students.
Prince Rupert DPAC’s purpose is to support, encourage and improve all schools and school programs in the Prince Rupert School District and to ensure that public education serves the best interests of all students.
We are proud to support PACs and parents in accessing the school system at all levels. We provide a regular forum for the exchange of ideas and information among our PACs.
As the recognized education partner for parents in our district, the Prince Rupert DPAC consults with the SD52 administration and Board on current educational issues and proposed changes in our school district. The Prince Rupert DPAC maintains an ongoing liaison with our PACs, BCCPAC, School Board, Senior Staff, and education partners, Teachers, Principals, Support Staff, and the Ministry of Education.
Parent Voice can make a difference! You are encouraged to get involved and join us to work together with our District and education partners to provide our children with the best education possible.
